Kayangan villagers offer a variety of food from sweets to the savoury
and the spicy. Rice or “nasi” is the staple food here and can be eaten
with chicken, meat, seafood and
vegetables as well. The unique local favourites such as “Nasi Ambeng”,”Pecal
Lele”,”Sayur Pucuk Ubi”, and the most popular “ Nasi Lemak” are specially
prepared for tourist to taste. Below is an example of the local food served in buffet style by Homestay Seri

There are various type of local fruit that available
throughout the year such as mango, banana, guava, coconut and jackfruits
meanwhile durian, rambutan, langsat, duku and
mangosteen are available during certain season.
